I have been mulling about this for a long time. Should I try to generate money from my blog or not? First of all it is my hobby, there is nothing better than to write about baseball besides playing the game yourself of course.
I have decided to see if I can generate some money with my blog. It doesn’t have to be much, just to cover the costs.
So a request to the readers of this blog, if you have a company and you are looking for rather cheap advertising space, please leave a comment at the bottom of this post. I can manage that no-one will read it except me. If you leave a message on my twitter account or Facebook account, so I can contact you through PM, that is fine. Perhaps we can hammer out a deal.
The attention of this blog fluctuates. There are days that it gets 500-800 or even more hits per day. On other days, there will be only around 100-150. In general, the average daily hit rate is 350 right now.
The advertising space will be on the right side of the blog almost on top of the scroll down menu. As you can see there are three advertisements placed on top. This logo has a link to the website of the company. It gives some extra exposure to your brand name/product.
This blog is literally read all over the world. The majority comes from the Netherlands, but there are also readers from the USA, Germany, Belgium, Italy, France, Sweden, Canada, you name it.
